PVCleanTest
Take or upload a panel photo. Clean a small reference area, keep it in the same frame, and start an instant soiling pre-analysis.
Location permission is only requested with user approval. In real deployment, privacy notice, explicit consent, storage duration and deletion/withdrawal flows must be managed separately.
Prepare a valid reference photo
The analysis works best when a small cleaned reference area and the surrounding dirty area are visible in the same image.
Clean a small areaUse demineralized water and microfiber if possible. Avoid alcohol, chemicals and abrasive materials.
Keep it in the same frameThe cleaned reference and dirty panel area must appear in the same photo, under the same angle and light.
Avoid false areasAvoid heavy glare, shadows, rails, clamps, skylights, roof surface and people in the selected panel area.
Add more pointsEach valid point increases the data confidence. Homogeneity is reported; extreme local outliers can be excluded from the average.
Add a panel photo
After the photo is selected, the point analysis starts automatically. You can then drag the clean and dirty boxes to recalculate.
Take a close panel photo with the cleaned reference area visible.
Uploading and analyzing the image...
Review selected areas
Move or resize the boxes. Green is the cleaned reference. Orange is the dirty analysis area.
If the auto-selection chose a rail, glare, roof surface or wrong panel zone, drag the boxes before saving the point.
Reference-based optical difference.
Reference quality + photo quality.

Point results
Add more photos to improve site-level confidence. The same score repeating on every point may indicate wrong auto-selection or insufficient reference contrast.

Method and Limitation Note
This is a photo-based preliminary soiling analysis. It is strengthened by a cleaned reference area in the same frame, multi-point sampling and plant-specific calibration using actual production increase after cleaning. Final cleaning decisions should consider production data, irradiance and site conditions.
